Ridge 2000 Scientists – get involved! Speakers wanted!
Each spring, the R2K Steering Committee nominates scientists to be distinguished lecturers for the upcoming academic year. Four lecturers are chosen and invited to participate in the program. Each lecturer will visit four institutions (either college/university campuses or informal science centers such as aquariums and museums) where they will deliver a science talk aimed at undergraduate students and faculty and/or a general public lecture. Host institutions may choose to hear the science, public, or both lectures.
